At the end of a long hard day, it sure does feel good to crawl into a soft comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep. But it hasn’t always been that way. Some of the first beds were nothing more than shallow chests in which the bedding was placed. This “luxury” bed was replaced with ropes or leather straps stretched across a frame that held the bedding which was made of whatever was handy - straw or wool most likely.
In Ancient Egypt, beds were used for more than just sleep; they were used as a place to eat meals and to entertain. ( Breakfast in bed anyone?) I don’t know about you, but I’m glad that I have the soft, comfortable bed that I sleep in today. And what makes it even nicer is the Sleepy Down Comforter that covers it. You can have your very own Down comforter. Maybe you prefer a Down blanket, Down pillow or one of the quality synthetic comforters, blankets or sheet sets. Whatever you want; it is all right there. See for yourself what real comfort is!
How much sleep is enough? Do we need more or less sleep as we get older? Can the amount of sleep that we get at night affect how we perform during the day? Are you sleeping through the night or just taking cat naps?
Sleep needs vary from person to person and change as we age, but most adults need 7-8 hours of sleep each night. Newborns need from 16-18 hours of sleep a day, while the preschooler can make out with 10-12 hours of sleep. School-age children and teens need at least 9 hours of sleep a night.
Most people think that as you get older, you need less sleep. That is not necessarily true although it seems to work out that way alot of the time. While some people may require more than the average 7-8 hours of sleep per night, some may feel refreshed after only 5 hours of sound sleep. For a truly restful night’s sleep you need the comfort of a Sleepy Down Comforter. Nothing else can guarantee you a good night’s sleep like a night with the right comforter. Try it out and you’ll be sleeping like a baby!

You can easily save energy by setting your thermostat on 68 degrees F while you are awake. By turning your thermostat back 10-15 degrees for 8 hours, you can save 5% to 15% a year. You’ll get a 1% saving per degree when the setback period is for 8 hours.
While taking all of this into consideration, what works well along with cutting the thermostat back, is purchasing a new down comforter. You’ll be saving money on the energy bill as well as sleeping in luxury. Sleep in comfort and style with your luxury down comforter for years to come.
Before you begin, it is important to have a clean duvet cover. Then lay the duvet stuffing across the bed like it is already in place with the tags at the top. Next turn the duvet cover inside out and shake over bed so opening rests near your feet. (This next part is not for the claustrophobic so you might want to get your spouse to help out). Crouching down on the floor, crawl into your inside-out duvet cover so that your entire body is concealed. Hold hands above head and let hands find the top corners of the cover. Continue to hold on to the cover corners, reach down and grab hold of the bottom corners of duvet and hold tight. Pull the cover over your head and off your body until it is right side out and completely covers the comforter. Adjust as needed; button or zip opening and make sure the opening is at the end of the bed. And there you have it - your new duvet cover in place.
