Down comforters equal good night sleep.
When I had my first apartment years ago, I remember a very special Valentine’s Day present I received from my boyfriend. He arrived with a huge wrapped box and I had no idea what it contained. Unlike the traditional small box of jewelry or frilly box of candy, this oversize package was unpredictable.
After tearing through the pink and red metallic paper, I discovered an elegant white box. I tore it open eagerly to reveal an even whiter down comforter. The puffy down comforter was soft and inviting. I could not wait to throw it across my bed and try it out!
We brought the down comforter into my bedroom and laid it out over my old bedspread. My simple room suddenly looked and felt much more luxurious. We snuggled up together under the cozy down comforter to watch a romantic movie and open a bottle of champagne. I was amazed at how warm the down comforter was on a chilly winter evening.
This Valentine’s Day, we’ll be married for over a decade. I decided to relive that moment by purchasing a new goose down comforter for him. I can’t wait to see his face when he opens the box on Valentine’s Day!
