Down Comforter Bedding
Down comforters equal good night sleep.
Years ago, I received my first down comforter. I was a young woman and didn’t really understand why people spent more for down comforters. After getting one as a Christmas present, I quickly learned the difference between down comforters and other comforters. Down comforters are warmer, softer and cozier than anything else I ever snuggled under.
In those days, I was did not know about duvet covers. I also did everything from eating to reading to sleeping in bed. After a few years, my down comforter started to show serious signs of wear. I bought a new down comforter for myself with a decorative duvet cover. I was blissfully happy it looked so beautiful on my bed. But I wasn’t quite ready to part with my comfortable old down comforter.
Ultimately, my down comforter wound up getting folded in a corner of my living room. At night when I watched television, I curled up under the down and felt warm. It also let me lower the heat and save on the rising cost of heating bills. At Christmastime, I throw the down comforter over my legs as I wrap presents for the children for hours. I can’t imagine not having down comforters in my living room and bedroom now.
If you have only one down comforter, you’re missing out on hours of warm comfort. Invest in a new down comforter and retire your old one to the living room. I will vouch for the fact you’ll never regret it!
