After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, holiday shopping is in full swing. For years I battled the crowds at malls to grab the last down comforter or set of Egyptian cotton bedding sheets. Often you have to take what the store has rather than what you really want. When you shop online, you get exactly what you want. Even better, you don’t have to lug it all home in your vehicle or on public transportation because everything is delivered right to your door.
Last year I decided to do the majority of my holiday shopping online. Instead of grappling with store hours, tired personnel and hostile customers, I shopped from the comfort of my own home office. Sometimes I did my shopping at midnight in my pajamas!
The selection was incredible. I ordered the ultimate alternate down comforter for my mother-in-law because she is sensitive to down feathers. The texture and weight was perfect. My mother-in-law was impressed by the alternate down comforter’s warmth and hypoallergenic properties. I decided to treat myself to a new duvet cover to protect my down comforter. My parents received brand new down pillows and a set of smooth cotton bedding sheets in a color to match their bedroom decor. Everything arrived at my door weeks before the holiday so I had plenty of time for wrapping.
