Our down throw is filled with 10 oz. of white down. The cover is a super soft microfiber shell. It comes with a matching pillow sham that converts the throw in a travel size pillow. Diamond box construction keeps the fill in place. Super sized 50 x 70 . Great for summertime or back to school. Perfect for the students with that dorm room to decorate. No longer available in olive,sorry. No one is quite sure why DOWN-filled products and outerwear have moved from the pages of Field & Stream to fashion magazines. Those within the industry say its the energy crisis, as more folks turn down their thermostats at night and snuggle under a soft DOWN comforter. True, the back to nature movement, sleeping with your bedroom windows open, the good-health kick and the fact that many medical doctors suggest that electric blankets are not ‘best’ for the human body–all add-up to DOWN comforters’ popularity. Sleeping under one for a few nights makes a believer out of you.
