Down Comforter Bedding
Down comforters equal good night sleep.
Did you just buy new down comforters? Are you pulling your down comforters out of storage? Is the thought of spending money on dry cleaning stressful? Everyone is on a tight budget these days so why not refresh your down comforters instead of washing them?
Frequent washing of delicate down comforters is not recommended. If the weather is still warm enough, hang your down comforters outside on a clothing line. Let the down comforters get filled with fresh air as everyday odors dissipate and air out of the fibers. Bring the scent of fresh air into your bedrooms when you return the aired down comforters to the beds.
If it’s too cold to air your down comforters on a clothing line, toss them individually into your clothing dryer. Use the coolest setting possible for just 10 minutes. Toss in a fabric softener sheet to give your down comforter a clean, fresh scent when you take it out of the dryer. In just 10 minutes, your down comforter will be fluffier and refreshed to return to your bed.
Down comforters need to be periodically fluffed and aired to keep them looking and functioning at their best. With a little attention, your down comforters will be fluffy and fresh all the time!
