History of Beds

bed-blog-image.jpgAt the end of a long hard day, it sure does feel good to crawl into a soft comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep. But it hasn’t always been that way.  Some of the first beds were nothing more than shallow chests in which the bedding was placed.   This “luxury” bed was replaced with ropes or leather straps stretched across a frame that held the bedding which was made of whatever was handy - straw or wool most likely.

In Ancient Egypt, beds were used for more than just sleep; they were used as a place to eat meals and to entertain. ( Breakfast in bed anyone?) I don’t know about you, but I’m glad that I have the soft, comfortable bed that I sleep in today.  And what makes it even nicer is the Sleepy Down Comforter that covers it. You can have your very own Down comforter.  Maybe you prefer a Down blanket, Down pillow or one of the quality synthetic comforters, blankets or sheet sets. Whatever you want; it is all right there. See for yourself what real comfort is!

For my bed, it’s now the beddings that this site offers are what you can expect! It’s the best ever that I have had in terms of quality and prices. So what else can I ever ask for?…
